The ceremony was part of a nationwide program initiated by the Government to inaugurate and break ground on key national projects, under the direction of the Quảng Ninh Provincial Party Committee, People’s Council, and People’s Committee. It welcomed representatives from central ministries and agencies, Quảng Ninh provincial leadership, Vân Đồn authorities, partners, financial institutions, investors, local residents, and national media outlets.

The event commenced with a vibrant performance of traditional drums and lion-dragon dances, evoking both heritage and a forward-looking development spirit, setting an uplifting and ceremonious tone.

Following the opening remarks and guest introductions, attendees were presented with a project video introducing Crystal Holidays Harbour Vân Đồn. The project is developed on a 2.6-hectare site, with a total investment of over VND 5,600 billion, comprising five high-rise towers (28–34 floors) and an International Convention Center, aiming to become a fully integrated tourism–resort–entertainment complex at the heart of the Vân Đồn SEZ.

Phase 1, comprising Towers A and B, offers nearly 1,000 hotel rooms and resort apartments, operated by Centara Hotels & Resorts, a globally recognized hospitality management group with over 40 years of experience. This milestone not only contributes high-quality accommodation capacity to the region but also lays the foundation to attract MICE travelers, leisure tourists, and international guests in the near future.

Mr. Lê Đình Vinh, Chairman of Everland Group, emphasized: “The completion of Phase 1 marks a major milestone, affirming Everland’s commitment to sustainable and professional development aligned with Vân Đồn’s long-term tourism strategy.”

He reiterated the investor's dedication to deploying resources for the timely completion of the full project, as well as close coordination with Centara to ensure professional and efficient operations. Everland also committed to supporting local authorities in enhancing service quality and increasing the destination’s value.

He further noted that Centara’s international management expertise, combined with the project’s strategic location, infrastructure, and natural surroundings, would make Crystal Holidays Harbour Vân Đồn a highly attractive destination for both domestic and foreign guests.

On behalf of the Ministry of Construction, Ms. Hoàng Thu Hằng, Deputy Director General of the Housing and Real Estate Market Management Agency, stated:

“Completing and putting the project into operation to celebrate the 14th National Party Congress demonstrates the determination of Quảng Ninh and the developer to realize the Party’s guidelines on marine economic development and tourism as key economic sectors.”

Ms. Hoàng Thu Hằng reaffirming the state’s support for legal and operational frameworks in resort real estate.

She highlighted that the Ministry is actively finalizing the legal framework for condotels, resort villas, and other tourism real estate types, and will continue to collaborate with relevant authorities to ensure transparent, stable, and sustainable market development.

From the local government, Mr. Cao Tường Huy, Standing Member of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the People’s Council of Vân Đồn SEZ, praised the project’s contribution to Vân Đồn’s accommodation capacity and service diversity.

He emphasized that the authorities would always provide favorable conditions for the investor to effectively operate the project while ensuring compliance with all legal regulations.

A highlight of the program was the Plaque Attaching Ceremony recognizing Crystal Holidays Harbour Vân Đồn as a Project Celebrating the 14th National Party Congress—a symbol of the project's strategic value in enhancing high-end tourism infrastructure.

Immediately following was the Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony, officially marking the project’s transition to its operational phase. From this moment, Crystal Holidays Harbour Vân Đồn is ready to welcome guests, ushering in a new stage of growth.
